What started as one wedding became something I never expected.

When I became authorized to officiate weddings in Virginia in 2022, I truly thought I might perform one wedding a year.

God clearly had other plans.

One ceremony became another…and another…and before I knew it, Jennifer, I Do! had grown into something far greater than I ever imagined.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of standing beside hundreds of couples as they begin one of the most important chapters of their lives.

And somehow, I still get emotional.

I still smile when one partner sees the other walking down the aisle. I still laugh with my couples.

I still get butterflies before a beautiful ceremony.

And I still leave weddings thinking, I cannot believe I get to do this.

Because for me, this has never been about simply reading a script.

It’s about people. It’s about stories. It’s about connection. And it’s about creating a moment that feels completely yours.

No two couples are alike, which means no two ceremonies should feel alike either.

Before your wedding day, I take the time to get to know you - how you met, what you love about each other, what makes you laugh, the people who matter to you, and the little details that make your relationship yours.

Then I bring those pieces together to create a ceremony that feels warm, meaningful, natural, and authentically you.

Some couples want romantic.

Some want lighthearted.

Some want elegant and traditional.

Some want short and sweet.

Some want everyone laughing one minute and reaching for tissues the next.

There is no one “right” way to say I do. There is only the way that feels right for you.

You can expect someone who will arrive prepared, professional, calm, and genuinely excited to be there.

Someone who understands that even the most carefully planned wedding day can have unexpected moments and knows how to keep things moving without making you feel rushed.

Whether you are planning an intimate elopement with only the two of you, a micro wedding surrounded by your closest people, or a beautiful celebration with a room full of family and friends, your ceremony matters to me.

Love doesn’t always speak just one language.

As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking officiant, I can perform your ceremony entirely in English, entirely in Spanish, or bilingually in a way that feels natural and meaningful for you and your families.

Being bilingual is part of who I am and one of the many ways I can personalize a ceremony, but above all, my focus is always the same: creating a ceremony that reflects the two people standing in front of me.

Home is... Wherever my family is. My husband, my three boys, and my beautiful granddaughters are my heart, my why, and my greatest blessing.

I believe in... God, love, family, kindness, second chapters, and celebrating the moments that matter.

My perfect evening includes... Good food, the people I love, lots of laughter, music…and preferably a glass of champagne or Cabernet.

You may catch me... Dancing at your wedding after the ceremony. Yes, it happens.

My happy place... Anywhere near the ocean, although traveling somewhere beautiful is always a close second.

My guilty pleasure... Red velvet cupcakes, flaky pastries and occasionally believing dessert should come before dinner.

Something people quickly learn about me... I smile. A lot. I’m energetic, affectionate, organized, and probably going to be almost as excited about your wedding as you are.

What I hope people remember about me... Not simply what I said or what I did, but how I made them feel - seen, celebrated, comfortable and cared for.

I am authorized by the Circuit Court of Virginia to perform marriages in the Commonwealth of Virginia and also officiate ceremonies throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.

From helping you understand what happens with your marriage license to coordinating with your planner, photographer and wedding party, I make sure you can focus on what matters most: Being present. Taking it all in. And getting married.
